Families of addicted individuals

Your family member, spouse, or close friend is struggling with addiction and you have no idea how to help them. You may be enabling them by covering up/hiding their addiction, supplying them with their addiction (drugs, alcohol, porn, etc) to “keep the peace”, or not holding them accountable to work towards sobriety. Or maybe you try to set boundaries by giving ultimatums and using “tough love.” Nothing you do seems to work, and you feel like they’re choosing their addiction over you.

I started my counseling career by working directly with addicted individuals and have 4 years of experience in this area. As your therapist, I can help you better understand addiction and how to improve your own mental health while going through this journey with your addicted loved ones.
